Territorial Seed was a boutique gardening company with a high price point and outdated marketing methods. To expand their audience they needed to modernize and improve their online and in-store reputations.

Seed Rack Redesign

A holistic seed rack experience.

There are two kinds of seed displays; cheap metal racks and gaudy cardboard monsters. Territorial Seed’s was the former and it did nothing to highlight the brand.

We created a rack that stood out from the pack, giving customers the full Territorial gardening experience and emotionally justifying our higher price point.

This design invites people to lean in, enfolding them in the Territorial gardening experience. This shape also creates more space for products and branding.

Territorial Seed did great in garlic sales during the COVID years but after the pandemic they severely over-ordered, realizing halfway through planting season that they were going to be left with an overstock of rotting product.

With this social campaign we not only completely sold out all garlic varieties in record time, we also significantly increased Territorial’s customer footprint across the country.

Weekly Email Redesign

Reconstructing Weekly Emails

Territorial’s email marketing was frequent and boring. They had low engagement levels and needed to find a better way to connect to their large email list.

We transformed their email marketing to be simultaneously more elevated and conversational, increasing open rates and sales.
